PAULISTA 2028

OFFICE BUILDING - RETROFIT

The Paulista 2028 is located in one of the busiest areas of Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo. Built in the 70's, the building underwent a retrofit, completed in 2014, which modernized its architecture and facilities. In addition to the aesthetic renovation, water and energy consumption has been reduced, and the redesign of the façade has brought more natural light into the building, reducing the need for artificial light. This retrofit yielded to the Paulista 2028 the LEED Core & Shell Gold Level certification, one of the most rigorous and valued certifications in the area of sustainability of the buildings in the world. The building has two underground levels; ground floor with shop; mezzanine and 16 floors of office spaces, the last two forming a duplex unit with terrace.
I participated in this project from conception to the beginning of the construction, during the time I worked at Athié Wohnrath. Among the various activities I developed, I highlight the façade creation, participation in meetings with the client for the presentation and approval of the solutions, executive project, compatibilizations, technical meetings with the partners, adequacy of the project to obtain the LEED certificate, inspections and attendance at the construction site.
